Skin Tags

Skin Tags can be flesh coloured or darker in colour, they can be anywhere on the face or body but are common in the underarms area, under the breasts and in the groin.

What causes skin tags?

Skin Tags can be caused by friction from clothing, jewellery or skin areas rubbing. They can also be hereditary, increase with age or appear during pregnancy. Sometimes they are caused by the same virus as warts.

They can be removed quickly and easily with advanced electrolysis by applying heat to the stalk or neck of the tag. Skin tags usually come off at the time of treatment. If not, they will shrink and darken in colour and fall off within a few days of treatment.

What our clients say...

  • "I had skin tags and other lumps and bumps that I wanted removed from my face and neck. Barb was really reassuring and I felt like I was in very good hands. I have been to sandalwoods a few times and every time Barb is very knowledgeable, professional and confident. The treatment I had was ACP Advanced Cosmetic Procedures. Thank you Barb."

We are all individuals, therefore, results from treatments may vary from person to person. Results will last a different amount of time from person to person depending on variables such as the individual’s metabolism, lifestyle and area of treatment; this may even vary between treatments for an individual. Results, downtime and recovery following treatment will vary. Side effects that may occur are redness, swelling, tenderness and bruising at the injection site, however, these are mild and temporary.
