Milia Removal

These are small white pearly lumps which occur in the uppermost layer of the skin when sebum (natural skin oil) becomes trapped in a blind duct.

Milia are more common on dry skin but can also appear in response to injury like sunburn. Milia are treated by applying heat energy into them. After treatment, a tiny pin-dot crust will form which will heal and fall away usually within a few days leaving no marking at all.
